Welcome to our little corner of the internet! We're the Walker family - living one adventure (and one

chicken) at a time.

I am Meredith, homeschool enthusiast and full time RN Case Manager in a very busy Emergency

Department. When I am not at work, I am pouring my heart into homeschooling our two boys, balancing

structured curriculum and real-life lessons with fun and adventure.

George is my husband, he serves our community as a law enforcement officer and is also our resident

"chicken wrangler". A recent addition to his list of titles, he's learning the ropes of backyard chicken

keeping, teaching the boys along the way.

Jameson, our 8 year old, is a budding engineer with a big imagination. Whether he is building things,

diving into games (his favorite is chess), or swimming like a fish, he keeps us all on our toes with his

curiosity and goofy personality.

Wesley, age 4, a classic second child, brings the energy and then some. He is fiercely independent, full of

mischief and is Dad's second-hand man in the chicken wrangling game.

We believe in learning by doing and laughing through the chaos. Thank you for following along as we
